Each new level allows you to add another chess piece to your crew. Picking units that play well together is crucial, so you can mix up slick teamwork and lay down nasty combos.

But here’s the deal—you’ve got to keep your crew alive while trekking through dungeons. Fix them up with spells and potions, and don’t let them stray into peril. The game only locks in your progress after a level’s cleared, so if a piece drops mid-run, they’re history. And whatever happens, shield your King—if he goes down, it’s over. Pure checkmate.
